We recommend to set the shaker settings to “maximum” in the Stern system menu of your pinball machine: it’ll ensure you play with all the possible shaker events.
Then, adjust the level of motor intensity with the dedicated switch on the Shaker Enhancer board.
If your motor is “squeaking”, change the direction of your motor’s rotation with the dedicated switch on the Shaker Enhancer board: it could be the cause of the noise.
With the Shaker Enhancer board, you don’t need an extra capacitor kit (as recommended by Stern Advisory Bulletin Service / Cabinet Node Capacitor Kit 502-7059-00): everything is already onboard.
The Shaker Enhancer is compatible with both Stern SPIKE 1 and SPIKE 2 pinball machines.
